Safety Measures
The security team which includes first-aid workers, experienced on great international raids, is constanly in attendance during the whole length cf the race. Competent and efficient followers, a radioenetwork, four-wheel drive cars allow immediate contact and quick assistance.

In case of emergency an helicopter can reach every area cf the track.

The Medical Team
It includes doctors, nurses, masseur-physiotherapists, all specialised, who will provide reliable medical and paramedical assistance.

Food Supplies
The indispensable supply in energy will be found in abundance every 7 kms. The quality and the amount of thirst-quenching and nutritive products increase every year and provide a pleasant surprise ta all the racers.
 

A race for the heart (ARAC)
A part of the budget will be paid to the Association for the Research for the Assistance and the
Replacement of the Heart, under the presidency of Professor Jean-Raoul Monties.
